OUR SUSTAINABLE COMMITMENT

Dear guests, dear partners,

we make a first promise to you today.

We commit ourselves to make a sustainable and valuable contribution to our common future and to make the Parkhotel Quellenhof Aachen more sustainable through a variety of measures.

We have a responsibility towards our fellow human beings, our environment and future generations. It is our vocation and our passion to see people in the foreground of our actions. Therefore, we regularly reflect on how we can live up to this vocation and the responsibility that goes with it and optimize our Quellenhof step by step in a sustainable direction.

In June 2023, our Quellenhof was certified by the internationally recognized sustainability citation "GreenSign" with Level 4. We continue to move in the sense of sustainability on our journey to redesign our Quellenhof and invite you to actively accompany this journey and also to help shape it.

With a formative and inspiring trip to Bali in 2019, I started my personal journey to integrate more sustainability and awareness into my life - always driven by the motivation to make a big difference with small steps.

As a Sustainability Project Lead, I can dedicate myself to my heart's topic and positively influence the journey of our Quellenhof with ideas and optimization suggestions and raise awareness for sustainable responsibility.

I am very much looking forward to all the future projects and your support. Together we will create a brave change."

Small steps - big impactSustainable changes

Compostable coffee capsules

The coffee capsules for the coffee machines in our rooms and suites are BPI certified and therefore fully compostable.

Wooden key cards

Our key cards are made from renewable raw materials and are FSC certified (sustainable forest management).

Too Good To Go Partnership

Since January 2023, we have been saving food together with Too Good To Go. In total, we have already been able to save over 1.5 tone CO² as a result.

We have deliberately chosen a sustainable and durable material for our new pens.

Future Deal with corporate partners

Together with our long-term corporate partners, we have been supporting three local sustainability initiatives with our Future Deal since March 2022.

Future Stay Package

Your willingness counts - since February 2023, you can make your stay at the Quellenhof as sustainable as possible with our Future Stay.

Bistro Aachen - Vorspeise - Sauerteigbrot - Restaurant Aachen

Vegetarian & vegan dishes

In the Bistro and Elephant Bar you can expect a selection of vegetarian and vegan alternatives in addition to our "classics", try our "Zoodles" for example.

Wednesday for wildlife

With our partner Elephant Gin we support elephant conservation projects of the organization Big Life Foundation every Wednesday with every Special Gin Cocktail.

Free charging

In front of our hotel are two e-charging stations of STAWAG. Our guests can use the e-charging stations free of charge during their stay.

Travel responsibly with our Future Stay

Be rewarded for a small contribution to environmentally friendly travel. Enjoy your stay without daily room cleaning and actively contribute to protect our valuable resources. At the same time you are supporting the local sustainability project "reBubble" in combination with our Future Deal. If you travel by public transport or an e-car, you will receive karma points "on top". As a small thank you, a welcome drink awaits you upon arrival.
